Vogue boosts circulation with celebrity covers though ad pages decline
Cheryl Cole appeared on the cover of the February issue of UK Vogue and Michelle Obama will feature on the March issue in the US.Cole's interview drew in a record circulation of 240,000 year-on-year for the magazine in February.Vogue's latest average monthly circulation figure for the first half of 2008 is 221,090. New Audit Bureau of Circulations figures for the second half of last year will be released today and are expected to show a slight sales drop.The number of pages of advertising have fallen for the February, March and April issues. From March the magazine will raised its price from £3.80 to £3.90.Last year the UK edition of the magazine contained a record 2,236 pages of advertising.
