Publisher axes magazine after just seven months
Archant Specialist, the consumer magazine publishing arm of Archant, will produce the final edition of Airgun Sport in October, because it has not been selling enough copies.
Keith Morris, corporate communications manager at Archant, said the company already had two established airgun magazines but launched the new one seven months ago using existing staff and there would be no redundancies from the closure.
He said: "It was selling around 4,000 copies but that wasn't enough to sustain it going forward."
