A new service has surfaced in the crowded app-making market, allowing publishers to turn WordPress sites into native mobile apps. Appifier, previously in beta, creates apps with push notifications, offline access, social media sharing, and the ability to publish in the App Store, as TechCrunch reports today.

Appifier promises a “user-friendly experience” that will create a native app in minutes, with no need for writing code, using the same technology used to build Apple’s own iOS apps.

Monthly plans are priced at $39.99, while lifetime memberships are being offered at $499.99 for a limited time, according to the company’s website. The fee includes same-day App Store submission, unlimited push notifications, social media sharing, custom branding and user analytics. Publishers can preview the service for free by signing up with Appifier and download its Sandbox app.

The apps can be monetized by selling them through the App Store or with display ads through AdMob and Google AdSense. Appifier says it will not take a cut of the earnings
