The Times report says that GQ will be the first of those magazines to release a tablet edition for April, and the others will follow toward the beginning of summer. GQ already has an iPhone edition, and Wired is teaming up with Adobe to create a tablet-friendly edition of its magazine.

Conde Nast plans to sell the magazines in Apple's iTunes store. Depending on the performance of the five magazines currently being mooted for iPad syndication, more may become available in the fall, the Times report said.
