With just one click, you can have the Man of the Year mere inches from your face.  And if he doesn't do it for you, click again - you can select a new Man of the Year.

Conde Nast released a brand-new iPhone app Wednesday in conjunction with GQ's Men of the Year issue that provides readers with a replica of the magazine on their iPhone or iPod touch.

But its more than just a replica: You can click on a product and be taken right to the product's Web site, you can touch a link in a music review and download that song right to your phone, you can watch video of interviews, and so much more.

“We’re excited to see GQ on devices that have been synonymous with envelope pushing and creative innovation. The iPhone and iPod touch allow us to showcase everything GQ can offer,” said Jim Nelson, Editor-in-Chief of GQ.

“People trust GQ to keep them plugged into what’s going on in the world of style and in men’s lives. This allows us to reach more people in new and different ways.”

For Conde Nast, the app marks a big step in the advertising realm: each time a consumer buys the app, the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), the company that verifes magazine circulation, will count the purchase towards the total circulation of the December issue of GQ.  Advertisers look to ABC to verify magazine circulation, which in turn, helps determine the rates they pay for advertising in the publication.
