Circulation Cheer for Scottish Quartet
Says the Audit Bureau of Circulation, the Sunday Herald, the Scottish News of the World, the Independent on Sunday and the Daily Star of Scotland - Sunday each enjoyed year-on-year sales hikes over the 12 months, the first two continuing with upward year-on-year trends lasting these last couple of months.
The figures read, across the board, as follows:
Scottish Daily Mirror (26,094 in April 2010 versus 27,655 in April 2009, down 1561 or 5.6 per cent), Daily Record (304,206 versus 326,034, down 21,833 or 6.7 per cent), Daily Star of Scotland (85,064 versus 86,094, down 1030 or 1.2 per cent), Scottish Sun (344,753 versus 363,296, down 18,542 or 5.1 per cent), and Scottish Daily Express (66,367 versus 71,563, down 5196 or 7.2 per cent).
