B2B companies plan to increase online spending in 2010
According to a new survey from BtoB magazine, although only 26.1 percent of respondents said they plan to increase spending this year, 53 percent said they plan on increasing spending next year.Of that spending, the largest increase appears to be in online marketing with 68.7 percent of companies saying they plan to spend more online in 2010. Only 2.6 percent said they plan to decrease spending in that category.Even this year, with the recession still looming, the biggest increase in budgets will be in online marketing. According to the report, of the companies that will increase spending this year, 49.2 percent plan for their online marketing budget to rise.
